Mike Murphy's Legacy Green SS
Kansas City is known for its Irish celebrations. Mike Murphy's Legacy Green SS is made from a poly/cotton blend in a heather green hue. It is designed for a comfortable fit and features a classic soft style construction. The Vintage KC logo is featured with a white shamrock in the middle. and Slainte the classic Irish cheers. On the back neck is Hogerty's Cocktail Lounge where the Parade used to start.
1974 represents the first year the modern KC Irish parade was dreamed up by Mike Murphy, a Kansas City talk show host. Along with local saloon keeper Dan Hogerty, they vowed never to let the Parade succumb to respectability,
Murphy appeared in a garbage truck at the end of the parade to collect empty beer bottles, and wore a sandwich board that said "Parade" on the front and "End of Parade" on his backside.
